Conductive drawer insert, 6 compartments of 71 x 157 mm, Liastat, 10E3 to 10E8 ohm - A1-ESD EP0711017

Storing small parts loose in a drawer costs search time and, inside an EPA, adds the risk of components being charged by an insulating container. This thermoformed insert divides the drawer into 6 compartments and is made from Liastat with a surface resistance of 10E3 to 10E8 ohm, a material that drains charge instead of holding it. The six compartments measure 71 x 157 mm each at an inner height of 32 mm.

Application

The insert equips drawer cabinets and workbench drawers in electronics manufacturing, in repair work and in small parts stores. Typical contents are tape sections, connectors, semiconductors in tubes, screws and assembly hardware that has to stay within reach at the workstation without getting mixed up. Because the material drains charge, the drawer stays part of the grounded environment and does not have to be kept out of the EPA as insulating foreign material. The range also covers inserts with 12 and with 25 compartments.
