Transport equipment and chassis that move heavy assemblies through the ESD protected area need casters with load reserve and a conductive link to the structure. This swivel caster carries 150 kg, runs on a wheel of 100 mm diameter and has an overall height of 128 mm. The wheel centre is electrically conductive polyamide, the tread is moulded polyurethane.

Application

Typical use is on transport racks, trolleys for magazine racks, order picking carts and chassis inside an EPA, wherever populated goods are moved and the whole structure has to stay electrostatically controlled. The M12 back hole fitting is needed where the frame provides a central threaded stud instead of a top plate. The range is supplied in the wheel diameters 100, 125 and 160 mm, so swivel and fixed casters of one chassis can be matched to a common overall height.
