In electronics production people stand more than they walk, and the shoe has to carry both. The low shoe ERGO-MED 1305 XP from Atlas combines a fully ventilated mesh upper with the ESD behaviour that a workplace to DIN EN 61340-5-1 requires: the resistance of the person shoe floor chain stays below 100 MOhm so that no discharge destroys an assembly. Atlas lists the model to EN ISO 20345 in class S1P with slip resistance SRC, here in width 14.
- Controlled dissipation with a limit value: Atlas lists the model as an ESD shoe to DIN EN 61340-5-1 and guarantees a resistance below 100 MOhm for the person shoe floor measuring chain. The charge carried by the wearer drains away on the walk to the machine instead of reaching a component. The shoe also stays inside the antistatic window of 100 kOhm to 1000 MOhm required by EN ISO 20345.
- Toe protection with a test figure: anatomically shaped alu-tec aluminium toe cap, tested to EN ISO 20345 for at least 200 joules impact energy and at least 15 kN compression. Aluminium is light, moves the centre of gravity towards the middle of the foot and forms no cold bridge inside the shoe.
- Penetration resistance without metal: the XP technology uses a high-tech textile containing aramid fibres. It is light, creates no cold bridge and allows the natural torsion of the foot, and its longitudinal flexibility reduces the risk of twisting an ankle.
- Climate for long shifts: the mesh upper wraps the foot precisely and its air texture keeps the circulation going. The aktiv-X functional lining regulates moisture actively, is skin friendly and abrasion resistant.
- Cushioning as a system: the MPU INNOFLEX system guides the forces along the INNOFLEX LINE from heel to toe while the CLOUDZONE in the heel absorbs impact. Together with the MPU REBOUND SYSTEM of pressure relieving insole and MPU midsole the gait stays fatigue free after eight hours. The outsole reaches slip resistance class SRC.
- Fit instead of compromise: special width 14 from the Atlas multi-width system, the widest step in the range. The model belongs to the ERGO-MED series and is approved for insole supply and for certified orthopaedic modifications to DGUV rule 112-191.

Areas of use
The low shoe suits EPA workstations in electronics production, placement and test areas, device assembly, warehousing and order picking as well as in-house service work. For wet outdoor use the S3 boot of the same series is the better choice.
Standards and conformity
- EN ISO 20345, class S1P with the additional requirements P penetration resistance and SRC slip resistance, marking EN ISO 20345 S1P SRC.
- DIN EN 61340-5-1 for the ESD workplace. Atlas guarantees a resistance below 100 MOhm for ESD shoes using the person shoe floor method. The footwear standard itself has no ESD test, it only defines the antistatic range of 100 kOhm to 1000 MOhm.
- PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425, risk category 2.
- DGUV rule 112-191 for insole supply and certified orthopaedic modifications, blueline marking of the ERGO-MED series.
