The CF 2 black 2.0 is the light way into ESD protection. Class S1 gives a closed heel area, antistatic construction, heel energy absorption and the 200 joule toe cap, without the extra weight of a penetration barrier or a water tested upper. On dry production floors that is the right calculation. Atlas keeps resistance below 100 MOhm to DIN EN 61340-5-1.
What the shoe delivers
- S1 in plain words. Closed heel area, antistatic construction, energy absorption in the heel and a toe cap rated 200 joules of impact and 15 kN of compression. No water repellent upper, no penetration barrier. On dry indoor floors that is exactly the lightest option available.
- Charge dissipation to DIN EN 61340-5-1. The shoe ties the wearer into the personnel grounding of the EPA. Atlas guarantees a resistance of less than 100 MOhm measured by the person shoe floor method. The plain antistatic requirement of EN ISO 20345 allows anything between 0.1 MOhm and 1000 MOhm. Component protection depends on the tighter figure, because only that prevents a discharge when someone picks up an assembly.
- Steel toe cap rated 200 joules. The anatomically shaped cap withstands at least 200 joules of impact and at least 15 kN of compression to EN ISO 20345. Two hundred joules is roughly 20 kilograms falling from one metre, the classic workpiece sliding off a bench.
- MPU INNOFLEX system with MPU REBOUND. The sole assembly guides the load along one natural line of force, the INNOFLEX LINE, from first to last ground contact. Large tread areas made of energy absorbing MPU material take up the impact and return it into the next step. Anyone covering kilometres on concrete across a shift notices the difference by the end of the day.
- Sportline upper and aktiv-X functional lining. The Sportline fabric is built from textile fibres, is highly air permeable and breathes well. The aktiv-X lining regulates moisture actively, does not stain, is kind to the skin and resists abrasion. In heated production halls that is what decides the eighth hour of a shift.
- clima-stream concept and orthopaedic insoles. The Atlas clima-stream concept maximises breathability, balances moisture inside the shoe and regulates temperature. The shoe is built on standard width 10, which Atlas deliberately lasts broad and foot friendly, and is approved for orthopaedic insoles under DGUV rule 112-191.

Areas of use
Electronics production and board assembly, test and repair benches, laboratories, assembly and order picking on dry floors. Where water or cleaning fluid stands regularly, S2 is the class to choose, and where nails and swarf are a risk, S3.
Standards and conformity
- EN ISO 20345:2012, safety class S1, slip resistance SRC. Steel toe cap, tested to 200 joules of impact and 15 kN of compression.
- DIN EN 61340-5-1, ESD compliant. Resistance measured by the person shoe floor method is less than 100 MOhm. The antistatic requirement of EN ISO 20345 is wider, between 0.1 MOhm and 1000 MOhm.
- PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425, risk category 2.
- DGUV rule 112-191, suitable for orthopaedic insoles. The marking inside the shoe is what counts.
