ESD safety low shoe Flash 6305 XP S3S, Cordura upper, aluminium toe cap, black and grey - Atlas 26900

A safety shoe for the EPA has to do two things at once: drain the wearer's charge in a controlled way and protect the foot against impact and nails. The Flash 6305 XP solves this with a dissipative MPU sole to DIN EN 61340-5-1, an aluminium toe cap rated for 200 joules and an aramid penetration barrier that works entirely without metal.

What the model delivers

• Dissipation to DIN EN 61340-5-1. The shoe is part of the personnel grounding of the EPA. ESD shoes guarantee a through resistance below 100 MOhm with a lower limit of 0.1 MOhm, so the charge drains and the wearer stays protected during work up to 230 V.
• Safety class S3S read without knowledge of the standard. A water-repellent upper, a closed heel area, antistatic behaviour, energy absorption in the heel, plus a cleated outsole with SR slip resistance. In the 2022 edition the trailing S marks the metal-free penetration resistance tested with the 3 mm nail.
• Toe protection made of aluminium. The anatomically shaped alu-tec cap covers the 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression required by EN ISO 20345, weighs less than steel and conducts no cold into the shoe.
• XP penetration resistance made of aramid. The high-tech textile replaces the steel midsole, stays flexible, covers the full sole area and does not trigger metal detectors.
• Cordura upper in black and grey with a carbon fibre reinforced toe protector. The nylon fabric is tough, repels water and dirt and is easy to care for, while the toe protector shields the toe area during kneeling work.
• MPU INNOFLEX system with CLOUDZONE, the MPU REBOUND SYSTEM and an aktiv-X functional lining for the eighth hour on your feet. Approved for orthopaedic insoles to DGUV rule 112-191, width 12 is available as article 26912.
