ESD safety sandal TX 360 S1 SRC, SportLine upper, width 12 - Atlas 83012

In climate controlled assembly it is rarely toughness that decides the last two hours of a shift but the climate around the foot. The TX 360 is built as an open sandal with a textile SportLine upper and the clima-stream concept, and it stays ESD compliant: person, shoe and floor resistance stays below 100 MOhm to DIN EN 61340-5-1.

What sets this model apart

• Safety class S1 to EN ISO 20345: closed heel section, antistatic build, energy absorbing heel area and a toe cap tested to 200 joules of impact energy. S1 does not require a penetration barrier, anyone who needs one moves to an S1P or S3 model.
• ESD dissipation to DIN EN 61340-5-1 with a resistance below 100 MOhm. The antistatic band of the shoe standard EN ISO 20345 runs from 10 to the power of 5 ohms (100 kOhm) to 10 to the power of 9 ohms (1000 MOhm), and the ESD shoe stays deliberately below that.
• SportLine upper in textile fibres, highly air permeable and breathable, combined with the clima-stream concept. Atlas puts the comfort temperature inside the shoe at 32 degrees Celsius, and a deviation of just 1 to 2 degrees is already felt as hot or cold feet.
• MPU INNOFLEX system with four functional zones: flex notches for natural roll off, DYNAMIC PLATES at the forefoot for forward energy, the INNOFLEX LINE as a continuous force line from heel to toe and the CLOUDZONE that catches the impact on landing.
• Steel toe cap with an MPU toe protector against abrasion at the tip. Despite the open build the toe protection is full grade, the sandal compromises on weather protection, not on the cap.
• Width 12 is the extra wide version from the Atlas multi width system, meant for feet that still find the already broad standard width 10 too tight. Under DGUV rule 112-191 the model is released for orthopaedic insole provision, the marking sits inside the shoe.

Electronics manufacturing and assembly with an EPA to DIN EN 61340-5-1, test and measuring stations, light assembly, order picking and summer operation in warm halls. For wet floors, swarf or outdoor work a closed S2 or S3 model is the right choice, the open sandal does not protect enough there.
