The shoe dissipates the wearer charge to DIN EN 61340-5-1 at below 100 MOhm and still carries a penetration resistant insert despite the airy mesh upper, which is what makes it S1P. Last and sole follow the women's fit, a dedicated women last rather than a scaled men model.

Why this model

  • Protection class S1P to EN ISO 20345. Toe cap rated for 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN compression, closed heel area with energy absorption, antistatic construction and a penetration resistant insert in the sole.
  • ESD to DIN EN 61340-5-1. The person-shoe-floor resistance stays below 100 MOhm, so the wearer remains part of the dissipation chain at the ESD workstation instead of breaking it.
  • Mesh upper and clima-stream concept. The high-tech fabric wraps the foot closely and stays permanently air permeable, while clima-stream balances moisture and temperature inside the shoe.
  • MPU Light sole technology with the SPORTY LIGHT outsole. The manufacturer developed it specifically for women feet, the MPU REBOUND SYSTEM handles cushioning.
  • Replaceable insole with heel cushioning. It can be swapped for an orthopaedic insole to DGUV rule 112-191 without voiding the type examination.
  • Slip resistance SRC. The outsole is tested on tile with detergent and additionally on steel with glycerine, the top level of the marking that applied until the 2022 edition of the standard.
