ESD safety sandal alu-tec 360 S1 width 12, SportLine fabric, unisex - Atlas 31012

Broad feet and summer heat rarely meet on good terms. The alu-tec 360 in width 12 takes on both at once: the extra-wide option of the Atlas multi-width system and the open sandal form in air-permeable SportLine fabric. The closed heel holds safety class S1, and the MPU INNOFLEX sole holds resistance below 100 megohms to DIN EN 61340-5-1.

What the shoe delivers

• Open construction with full S1 protection. The heel area stays closed as the standard requires for S1, joined by antistatic build, energy absorption in the heel and a toe cap rated for 200 joules. The rest of the upper lets air reach the foot.
• Charge dissipation to DIN EN 61340-5-1. The sandal ties the wearer into the personnel grounding of the EPA exactly as a closed shoe does. By the person-shoe-floor method Atlas guarantees less than 100 megohms, whereas the plain antistatic requirement of EN ISO 20345 allows anything between 0.1 and 1000 megohms.
• alu-tec aluminium toe cap and toe guard. The anatomically shaped cap meets 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression to EN ISO 20345, weighs less than steel and shifts the centre of gravity towards the midfoot. Being thermally neutral, aluminium forms no cold bridge, and the carbon-fibre reinforced toe guard takes the abrasion of kneeling work.
• Width 12 as a last width of its own. Width 12 is not standard width 10 one size up but a separate, extra-wide last width in the Atlas multi-width system. The length stays the same and the ball of the foot gains room, which is exactly what decides after eight hours on your feet.
• SportLine fabric with a hydrophobic finish. The textile weave is highly air-permeable, water-repellent, quick-drying and hard-wearing. Inside, the aktiv-X functional lining regulates moisture, does not stain and stays abrasion-resistant.
• MPU INNOFLEX system with CLOUDZONE. The INNOFLEX LINE guides the forces along the natural line of force from the first to the last ground contact, the CLOUDZONE in the heel cushions the strike, and the large MPU tread areas return energy. The MPU REBOUND SYSTEM adds a pressure-relieving insole. Slip resistance SR.
• clima-stream concept aiming at 32 degrees inside the shoe. Atlas names 32 °C as the comfort temperature inside the shoe, and a deviation of one to two degrees is already felt as hot or cold feet. The open sandal form and the thermoregulating lining pull in the same direction here. Approved for orthopaedic insoles to DGUV rule 112-191.

Electronics manufacturing and placement, test and repair benches, final assembly, order picking and warehouse work, above all in heated halls or through a hot summer. The open construction belongs in dry indoor areas. Wet conditions call for S2 or S3, and a risk of nails or swarf calls for a penetration-resistant version.
