Titanium Booster Horn for Amplitude Gain - Bandelin Sonopuls SH 225 G

The SH 225 G booster horn uses its slightly tapered shape to amplify the amplitude generated by the Sonopuls ultrasonic transducer. The probe is mounted via the internal thread, while the external thread provides a pressure-tight connection for sonication vessels. This raises the vibration amplitude and therefore the intensity of sonication in the sample.

Applications

The booster horn is used in the lab between the ultrasonic transducer and the probe when higher amplitude and more intense sonication are needed, for example in cell disruption, dispersing or emulsifying.
