Statfree DLR2 ESD Rubber Mat, 2-Layer, Blue, 2 mm, 1.2 x 0.6 m - Desco 228077

On an ESD worksurface, components, tools and the mat should sit at the same potential so that charges drain in a controlled way rather than in a sudden discharge. The Statfree DLR2 rubber mat in blue (mat 1.2 x 0.6 m) reaches a resistance to ground of 1 x 10⁶ to < 1 x 10⁸ ohms and withstands soldering irons, heat and most chemicals.

• Two-layer build: the dissipative top layer at 1 x 10⁶ to < 1 x 10⁹ ohms drains charges in a controlled way, and the conductive bottom layer spreads them across the whole mat to the ground point.
• Resistance to ground Rg 1 x 10⁶ to < 1 x 10⁸ ohms, well below the 1 x 10⁹ ohm limit of IEC 61340-5-1.

Applications

Worksurfaces for assembly, soldering, repair and testing of electronic assemblies, lab and goods-in benches, and shelf and trolley surfaces in the EPA.

Standards

Top layer, bottom layer and resistance to ground meet the IEC 61340-5-1 requirements for worksurfaces. The rubber is vulcanised and may contain sulphur, and colour and texture can vary slightly between lots.
