Nylon Prober, Point Blade, 150 mm, Glass Filled, for Opening Cases and Positioning Leads - Desco 35622

Opening the cases of phones, laptops or meters calls for a tool that leaves no scratches and causes no short circuits. This Menda point blade prober is made of 15 % glass filled nylon and is 150 mm long. The flat screwdriver surface spudges wire leads down flat on the board, and the pointed end forms leads or holds parts while soldering. A notch is used for hooking and pulling wires or components.

Standards

Note on EPA use: nylon absorbs moisture. After a few minutes of handling with bare hands the tool may be suitable for use near ESD sensitive components. When used with gloves in a clean environment it must be dipped in a topical antistatic solution before use, and the treatment should be repeated every six months. Without moisture or treatment nylon is insulative and charges will not drain to ground.
