Applications

Single workstations using single-wire wrist straps in assembly, repair and test. Where there is no ESD worksurface, the mat circuit is switched off.

Standards

The wrist strap circuit corresponds to the 0.8 to 1.2 x 10⁶ ohm limit of ANSI/ESD S20.20 with product qualification per ANSI/ESD S1.1. With continuous monitoring, daily wrist strap testing may be omitted.
