Moisture sensitive parts such as SMD ICs are packed in moisture barrier bags with desiccant. When the bag is opened, it must be clear at a glance whether the contents stayed dry. These humidity indicator cards show the relative humidity the package was exposed to using 3 spots at 30, 40, 50 % RH: each spot changes from blue to pink once its level is exceeded.

Applications

Standards

Complies with MS 20003-2, MIL-I-8835, MIL-P-116. The chemistry uses a cobalt compound without sulphur compounds.
