When bending wire loops and component leads, consistent radii matter. These round nose pliers with long jaws form loops in different diameters, because the wire is placed tighter or wider depending on its position along the tapered jaws.

The grips are double sheathed and cushioned. Their resistance is below 1 x 10¹¹ ohms, measured per ANSI/ESD STM11.13 with a two-point probe. Charges drain in a controlled way, and the pliers can be used on sensitive components inside the EPA.
