ESD sensitive assemblies need packaging that keeps electrostatic fields and discharges away during transport and storage. The 1000 series metal-in bag is made from a polyester, aluminium and polyethylene laminate and limits the discharge energy inside to less than 20 nJ per ANSI/ESD STM11.31.

Side gussets and a sealed bottom let the bag expand, so large and bulky assemblies fit inside. Used as a liner in cartons or bins, it turns standard shipping containers into ESD safe packaging.
