Dust collects under benches, behind equipment and in machine corners where the hose alone does not reach well. The bent wand extends your reach and brings the nozzle to the spot at the right angle.

The wand is static dissipative, which prevents static build-up. The 497 series ESD vacuums are designed for use in an EPA. Hose and accessories are conductive or dissipative, and charges drain through the grounding conductor of the power cord when the unit runs from a grounded outlet.
