Description
The EFM 8120 is a small, handy electrostatic field meter with a 21-segment LED bar with smooth transition, giving a maximum reading accuracy of about 5 %. The instrument sits in a sturdy aluminium housing.
Power is supplied by a built-in NiMH battery with permanent charge monitoring. A ±1 V analogue output is provided for recording readings. With the optional Pico software, the hand electrode and the MK 11 S2 measuring head, a walking test to DIN EN 61340-4-5 can be carried out.
Applications and standards
For checking electrostatic charges and, with accessories, for the walking test to DIN EN 61340-4-5 within an ESD control programme to IEC 61340-5-1.
