At a soldering bench the tip shape decides whether heat reaches the joint or goes past it. This set bundles the three most frequently bought shapes of series 832 from 0.4 to 2.2 mm and adds desoldering braid plus a lead-free solder wire sample.

Features

• 0.4 mm pencil tip for fine structures, individual pins and corrections on small parts.
• 1.0 mm pencil tip as the general purpose shape for leaded components, stranded wire and connectors.
• 2.2 mm chisel tip with a larger contact face for ground planes and wide joints.
• All three tips in LF form, designed for lead-free solder and the higher temperatures it requires.
• WICK1.5-1.5 desoldering braid at 1.5 mm width for taking up residual solder after component removal.
• Lead-free solder wire sample, so a new tip can be tinned and wetted straight away.

Compatibility

According to the manufacturer, series 832 fits the RDS80, DIGITAL 2000 in combination with the Power Tool, Multi-TC, PTC70, Multi-Pro and the Analog 60 and 60A and Analog 80 and 80A irons.
