Quick connect coupling HI Cupla 200 200-20SF, R 1/4, steel - Nitto Kohki 317402500

On an air line, pulling back the sleeve every time costs seconds and a free hand. The Nitto Kohki HI Cupla 200 connects by simply pushing the plug in and works up to 1.5 MPa (15 bar).

• Push-to-connect operation, the sleeve does not have to be pulled back first

Operating principle

Series comparison

Choose HI CUPLA 200 for air lines worked at up to 1.5 MPa {15 kgf/cm2}, where the 1.0 MPa {10 kgf/cm2} of MICRO CUPLA, SMALL CUPLA, COMPACT CUPLA, CUBE CUPLA and SUPER CUPLA is not enough. Against the equally rated one-way shut-off series HI CUPLA, FULL BLOW CUPLA, LINE CUPLA 200 and HI CUPLA ACE it is the choice when the seal is to sit on the end face and when socket and tube are to be joined in one push by the integrated Tube Fitter. It is no candidate where the line has to stay open, which is what the straight through LEVER LOCK CUPLA does, nor where two-way shut-off as in COMPACT CUPLA or CUBE CUPLA is required, and it stays limited to air on a steel body.

Compatibility

The range is interchangeable with HI Cupla models 20, 30 and 40 and with the corresponding models of the wider HI Cupla series. Flow runs from socket to plug, and the range is not suitable for vacuum in either the connected or the disconnected state.

Standards and compliance

End sizes are 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2" as Rc and R threads or hose barbs, tightening torques are 14 Nm, 22 Nm and 60 Nm, the sealing material is nitrile rubber (NBR, marked SG).

Safety and application notes

• Before use, please be sure to read "Safety Guide" described at the end of this book and "Instruction Sheet" that comes with the products.
• Not suitable for vacuum application in either connected or disconnected condition.
• Available only with steel body. Not suitable for water or oil.
• Fluid must run from socket to plug.
• When connecting an extremely soft tube such as soft polyurethane or soft nylon, attach the insert ring specified by the tube manufacturer to the inner diameter of the tube to be connected.
• Do not exceed the maximum tightening torque given for each thread size.
