To weigh accurately across a wide range, the KERN HFD 10T-3IP uses multi-range switching: as the load increases the scale steps up to the next range (3000 / 6000 / 12000 kg) and returns to the finer one once unloaded, so readability 1 kg is available at low loads. The sturdy cast-aluminium housing and Li-Ion battery keep it usable from site to site.
