In a service case, sensors, small modules and spare parts tend to rattle around loosely. With two 242 x 174 x 20 mm convoluted pads, the set fills almost the full height of the K2001 ESD (240 x 170 x 42 mm inside), and bottom and lid press the part between the convolutions when the case is closed.
