Accessories for valves
Festo interlinking plates join multiple valve units of a valve island into a shared supply and exhaust channel, eliminating the need for external hose connections between valves. The VABV series is available in valve sizes S2, S4 and S6. Port threads G 1/8, G 1/4 and G 3/8 cover standard pipe sizes, and the T1/T2 variants differ in how the exhaust port channel is routed.
28 articles span single-supply (1S) and dual-supply (2S) variants as well as HS versions with an enlarged channel cross-section. The plates are screwed directly between valve bodies without sealant, creating a compact, leak-stable valve block.
The size (S2, S4, S6) must match the valve series in use. T1 and T2 determine whether the R/S channel is connected on one or both sides of the plate. HS variants (e.g. VABV-S4-1HS-G14-2T2) are suited to high-performance applications where large valves require fast switching cycles with high flow. Installation involves bolting valve bodies directly to the interlinking plate; sealing faces are machined and require no sealant compound.
Typical applications: Assembly of compact valve islands on production lines, extension of existing Festo valve blocks with additional switching stages, pneumatic controls with segregated exhaust zone routing, and special-purpose machinery with space constraints where external inter-valve pipework would be impractical.
