Accessories for valves
Festo adapter plates provide the electrical and pneumatic interface between S6 valve islands and different bus systems or control interfaces. The VABA-S6 series covers pneumatic interface connections (VABA-S6-1-X1, -X2, -X2-D) as well as adapter plates for direct valve mounting with BSP (G1) and NPT (N1) port options. 7 articles deliver the adaptation layer between the valve island and the installed system infrastructure.

The X1 and X2 interface connections differ in how pneumatic channels are mapped to the control interface. The X2-D variant adds a drain function, useful where condensate can accumulate in the channel system. Adapter plates with G1 or N1 ports are intended for systems requiring inch thread connections to BSP (G) or NPT (N) standards. Variants with -B- in the part number include a base plate; the others are supplied without one and require a customer-supplied end plate.
Typical applications: Integration of Festo S6 valve islands into international systems using NPT thread standard (North America, Japan), connection to existing G1 manifold pipework, system retrofits with changed bus interfaces, and assembly of multi-station valve islands with a uniform external port.
