Black, light and with penetration protection is the combination electronics plants ask for most often. The DEFINE WNS LOW delivers it on a women's last in width F and stays ESD compliant, so that person, shoe and floor together remain below 100 megohms at a workplace to DIN EN 61340-5-1.

What sets this model apart

• Penetration protection without steel. The flexible FAP layer covers more of the sole area than a steel plate, lets the foot keep its torsion and creates no cold bridge. Together with the fibreglass cap the shoe stays entirely metal free.
• A tested toe cap. The fibreglass cap passes the EN ISO 20345 test at 200 joules of impact energy and 15 kN of compression. It protects like steel, weighs less and conducts no cold into the forefoot.
• ESD as part of the workplace. The shoe carries the wearer charge through the sole to earth. Under DIN EN 61340-5-1 it is not the shoe alone that is assessed but the person, shoe and floor system, below 100 megohms.
• SAFETY KNIT on a women's last. The knit upper adapts to the foot without pressing on the instep and stays air permeable. The MOTION PROTECT WOMEN line is calculated for the female foot and offered in width F, sizes 36 to 42.
• Footbed with arch support. The evercushion CUSTOM FIT MID footbed supports the longitudinal arch and guides the foot through its roll. Below it the IMPULSE.FOAM midsole works in two densities.
• A sole for hall floors. The MOTION IMPULSE rubber outsole is tested against 300 °C contact heat, grips and wears well. The manufacturer also lists the model as DGUV certified.

Electronics production and placement, test and repair benches, assembly, order picking and warehousing inside the EPA. The metal-free penetration protection also covers workshops with nails and swarf. For water from outside a class S2 or S3 model is the suitable choice.
