On fine THT pins the inner diameter of the nozzle decides whether the pad comes free cleanly or solder stays behind in the hole. The AN01-08 works with a 0.8 mm bore and is therefore sized for the smallest pins normally handled on the TV2+.
What the nozzle does
- Inner diameter of 0.8 mm, so the fit around the pin concentrates heat exactly where the solder has to melt.
- Straight design, giving direct access to the hole and an even suction flow.
- Complete solder removal during extraction, which cuts rework and leftover solder in the plated through hole.
- RoHS compliant and therefore unrestricted in lead-free repair processes.

Application and compatibility
