Description
Large pads, ground planes and stranded wire joints pull heat away, and a narrow tip simply takes too long on them. The QU911G-16D is a chisel tip measuring 1.6 x 0.6 mm and its wider edge delivers the heat flow such joints need inside a robot cycle.
What the tip does
- Chisel shape 1.6 mm wide, a larger contact area on pad and lead and therefore a shorter dwell time per joint.
- Straight design, matched to the fixed axis position in the robot and a repeatable approach.

Application and compatibility
Fits the 9018M and 9018BMT robot soldering tools and therefore the QUICK ET9181 SEMI-AUTO, 9594FYA, ET9494E, 9584EYA and ET9494F-A machines as well as further models of the range. For finer joints the same series offers the QU911G-10D at 1.0 x 0.6 mm. Scope of delivery: one soldering tip.
