Kartuschenlötspitze für TS8, gerade, schlank verlängert, nadelspitz Ø 0,2 mm rund, 0,8 mm Lot-benetzt - Quick TSS08-I02

On pads spaced a few tenths of a millimetre apart the result is decided less by heat than by how much solder the tip carries with it. The TSS08-I02 limits wetting to 0.8 mm and so holds a fraction of the reservoir found on the otherwise identical 4 mm version.

What the geometry does

• Wetted length of only 0.8 mm keeps the solder at the very crown of the point instead of the shank, so bridges between adjacent terminals occur far less often.
• Needle point of 0.2 mm diameter concentrates the heat on a single pad.
• Extended slim version lets the thin shank reach contacts that lie between tall components.
• Thermocouple in the tip, essential at this small tip mass because the loop has to respond at once for the joint to reach setpoint.
• Chip with the stored calibration value keeps the station reading trustworthy after a change.
• Tip and heater form one direct unit, so the thermal path to the joint stays short.

Application, scope of delivery and compatibility

Suited to 0201 and 0402 packages, to pads under BGA edge rows after removal, to micro switches and connector contacts in mobile devices, and to any single joint that has to be touched with the smallest possible amount of solder. If the same needle shape needs to carry more solder, the 4 mm wetted variant covers that.
