Large pads, ground connections and heavy leads need contact area rather than a sharp point. The QU911G-30D-07 provides a 3.0 mm edge for that and, at 0.8 mm thickness, stays as flat as the smaller sizes in the series.

What the tip does

• Edge width of 3.0 mm, the contact covers a large pad and the lead together and shortens the dwell time per joint.
• Only 0.8 mm of edge thickness, wide in effect yet still flat enough to reach in between adjacent leads.
• Straight design, the approach dimension matches the other straight tips in the series.
• QU911G series, laid out for repeatable joints and long service life in continuous production.
• RoHS compliant and suited to lead free alloys with their higher heat demand.

Application and compatibility

For the 9018M and 9018BMT robot soldering tools and therefore for the QUICK ET9181 SEMI-AUTO with wire feeder, the 9594FYA and 9584EYA with two tables, the ET9494E and ET9494F-A and further models of the range. If a joint still runs cold at 3.0 mm, the QU911G-40D at 4.0 x 1.5 mm brings considerably more mass, while denser areas are covered by the QU911G-24D at 2.4 x 0.8 mm.
