When a machine solders for eight hours without a break, what counts beside heat delivery is how long the tip keeps its shape. The QU911G-30DV1-06 is built as a long life plated tip, works with a 3.0 mm width and a 1.0 mm edge thickness and, at 50 mm overall length, can be modelled exactly in the robot program.

What the design delivers

• Long life plated tip, the tinning is laid out for continuous duty rather than occasional hand work.
• Edge thickness of 1.0 mm instead of the usual 0.8 mm, more material behind the contact face and therefore less temperature drop on heat hungry leads.
• Wedge face on the 3.0 mm chisel edge, heat enters the joint through the bevel and not through the edge alone.
• Overall length of 50 mm, a documented figure for approach paths and collision checking in the program.
• Straight design, RoHS compliant and usable without restriction in lead free series processes.

Application and compatibility

Intended for the 9018M and 9018BMT robot soldering tools, that is for the QUICK ET9181 SEMI-AUTO with wire feeder, the 9594FYA and 9584EYA with two tables, the ET9494E and ET9494F-A and further models of the range. If the plain wedge shape is wanted at the same width, that is the QU911G-30DV2-01 at 3.0 x 1.0 mm, while the flat chisel version is the QU911G-30D-07 at 3.0 x 0.8 mm. Scope of delivery: one soldering tip.
