A large edge is of no use if it fouls the housing wall. The QU911G-40D-07 therefore combines the 4.0 x 1.5 mm chisel geometry with an extended body, so the heat capacity of the biggest tip in the series is also available at joints that sit deep.

What the extended body delivers

• Extended design, the edge reaches joints in recesses, behind webs or between tall components.
• Edge width of 4.0 mm, the full contact area of the range is retained despite the greater reach.
• Material thickness of 1.5 mm, the heat reserve behind the edge carries the longer path back to the cartridge seat.
• Straight design, so the approach stays predictable for the robot and only the length differs from the QU911G-40D.
• RoHS compliant and suited to lead free series processes with their higher heat demand.

Application and compatibility

For the 9018M and 9018BMT robot soldering tools and the machines fitted with them, the QUICK ET9181 SEMI-AUTO with wire feeder, the 9594FYA and 9584EYA with two tables, the ET9494E and ET9494F-A and further models of the range. On open joints the short QU911G-40D of the same size is enough, while round pin terminals in a recess suit the extended special shape QU911G-30PCV-07 with its bore. Scope of delivery: one soldering tip.
