As soon as tall electrolytics, heat sinks or housing walls stand next to the joint, a short tip hits the surroundings before it reaches the lead. This version is therefore extended and tapered in the shaft, with the 5.0 mm chisel blade sitting at the end of a slim transition.

Intended for joints that are hard to get at, in recesses, beside tall components or inside housing cut outs. Fits the 9018M and 9018BMT soldering robot tools and therefore the ET9181, 9594FYA, ET9494E, 9584EYA and ET9494F-A robots plus further models of the range. Supplied as a single tip.
