On flat tips the front face decides how heat is transferred, and on this version that face is tinned from the factory. The end measures 8.0 x 1.7 mm and is available as a wetted surface right away, so the process does not have to establish wetting first.

Intended for wide soldering areas, flat terminals and recessed contacts where the end face of the tip is the actual working surface. Fits the 9018M and 9018BMT soldering robot tools and therefore the ET9181, 9594FYA, ET9494E, 9584EYA and ET9494F-A robots plus further models of the range. Supplied as a single tip.
