Between tall electrolytics or shielding cans there is no room for a flatly held iron. The TSS08-3CM02 answers that with a 60 degree grind on a 3 mm diameter, while the concave face still holds the solder, so a steeper approach and a solder reservoir come together.

Application, scope of delivery and compatibility

Meant for densely populated assemblies, for rework between heat sinks and shields, and for terminals approached from above. Scope of delivery, one cartridge soldering tip. It runs in the QUELKTSS80A handpiece on Quick TS8 and TS8+. For a flatter approach take the same 3 mm shape with a 45 degree grind, both belong to the TSS08R series and interchange with each other.
