When the hot air pencil fails, the whole rework station stands still even though pump and electronics are sound. This original Quick pencil arrives as a finished assembly with the QUHK618A heating element already fitted and 83 cm of hose and cable, so there is no need to strip the old handle.

What the replacement pencil brings

• Complete assembly of handle, QUHK618A heating element, supply lead and air hose, one item instead of three separate orders.
• 83 cm of hose and cable match the original, so the working radius at the bench stays as it was.
• The heating element is already installed, which removes the need to open the grip and check the element contacts.
• At 0.1 kg and a form of 146 x 20 x 20 mm per supplier data, the pencil stays slim enough for work close to the board.
• Original Quick part, so pin assignment and hose fitting match the TR1300A without adaptation.

Applications

Replacement after a burnt out heating element, after a cable break at the strain relief and after a split air hose. Also a sensible standby pencil where a TR1300A runs continuously and a failure would halt the repair line.
