Desoldering only works when the joint is fully molten before the vacuum pump draws the solder through the tip. That heat comes from the heater inside the desoldering iron. If it fails, the TV2+ stops working even though pump, control and handle are sound. The TVS30 weighs 0.06 kg and goes in as a finished assembly.

Application

Intended for electronics technicians, workshops, repair services and technical service departments running a TV2+. The old heater is taken out of the iron and replaced by the TVS30, while the remaining parts of the iron stay in use. After fitting, recalibrate the station temperature so the control loop matches the new heater.

Scope of delivery

One TVS30 heater including the visible connection contacts and the mounted bracket. A desoldering tip and further parts of the iron are not included.

Compatibility

Intended for the Quick TV2+ desoldering station. Other Quick irons and stations use their own heaters.
