Why the middle size covers the day
- 1.2 mm of working width provides enough contact area for component leads while staying under the pitch of common connectors.
- A 0.8 mm blade carries more stored heat than the 0.6 mm of the TSS11-0.8D, which shows on stranded wire and through-hole pins.
- Heat-up of three seconds from 20 °C to 300 °C, so there is effectively no wait at the start of a shift.
- Temperature range of 100 to 450 °C on the TS11, which includes lead free alloys.
- Tip and heater form one unit and the integrated thermocouple measures where the heat is actually drawn off.

Application, scope of delivery and compatibility
Suited to soldering on pads, pins, connectors and printed circuit boards in repair, rework, prototyping and laboratory work. For very close pitch the 0.8 mm TSS11-0.8D is the narrower option, for heavier terminals the TSS11-1.6D. Delivery is one cartridge tip, which fits the Quick TS11 soldering station.
