The stand base takes the compact LED2 cold light source and stands it securely on the work surface. It is the simplest way to put the source in place without a bench clamp or a drilled hole, for instance at a changing test station or in the laboratory.
The base is matched to the LED2 housing geometry, holds the light guide port at working height and leaves the cooling surfaces clear so that passive cooling works unimpeded.
