Description
UV safety glasses belong at every workstation where inspection uses UV ring lights, UV lamp houses or UV modules. They shield the eyes against the UV-A radiation used in fluorescence, adhesive and residue inspection.
The colourless lenses pass the visible spectrum largely unaltered, so colour judgement and fluorescence hues can be assessed with the glasses on.
The lenses carry a scratch-resistant coating and stand up to daily shop-floor use. As personal protective equipment the glasses are bought per workstation, not per luminaire; a UV protection filter at the ring light shields in addition.
