ESD Quick Tester STATEST FLOOR for Floors and Work Surfaces - Statech Systems

Periodic verification of ESD equipment costs time when a bench meter has to be set up for every measurement and the tester has to bend down. STATEST FLOOR hangs in front of the body on an adjustable nylon strap, the 2.3 kg electrode is simply placed on the surface, and the result appears within seconds as a green or red LED.

Applications

Recurring verification of ESD floors, table mats, seats, trolleys and racks in the EPA. For point-to-ground resistance the cable reel with 25 m lead can be connected, for surface readings the 2.3 kg circular electrode.

Standards and notes

The instrument meets and exceeds IEC 61340 and ANSI/ESD S4.1, test practice follows IEC 61340-5-1 and ANSI/ESD S20.20. Not suitable for measurements in explosion-hazard areas. Never drag the electrode across the covering and do not clean it with water, and keep the instrument on a periodic calibration schedule.
