Crowring spanner No. 440a size 2 3/8 inch 1/2 inch square drive L 95.2 mm - Stahlwille 03490078

Where a large imperial fastener of 2 3/8 inch can only be reached from the side, the Crowring spanner No. 440a does the job: the closed bi-hex ring grips the nut while the tool is driven through its 1/2 inch internal square. With a length of 95.2 mm and a ring width of 83 mm the design stays compact.

Benefits

• Bi-hex with AS-Drive profile, transferring force via the flanks rather than the corners
• 1/2 inch internal square drive for use on drive tools with a matching external square
• Chrome Alloy Steel, chrome-plated
• Closed ring design, weight 385 g

Applications

Designed by the manufacturer for the Volvo aircraft engine type JAS (manufacturer specification 3/8 inch). Suitable for maintenance and overhaul in aviation, where large imperial fasteners are tightened or loosened by hand.
