Large torque wrenches can only be calibrated reproducibly if the load is applied without shifting the force application point and without significant transverse forces. The MANUTORK 7792 mechanical calibration system works up to 1000 Nm and accepts wrenches with a functional length Lf of up to 1390 mm. Transducers of sizes 20, 100 and 300 are used. Torque is applied manually via a handwheel and spindle, while the wrench remains in position and rests friction-free on two ball-bearing bushings.
