Micromot Devices
Proxxon insert tools for Micromot devices include HSS twist drills, tungsten-vanadium steel cutters, carbide cutters, carbide multi-cutters, and diamond-coated grinding pins, all with 3.2 mm shank for the Micromot collet. HSS micro-twist drills (DIN 338) are available as individual drills (0.5, 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.6 mm, 3 pieces each), as a 10-piece set (0.3-3.2 mm), and with centre point (6-piece, 1.5-4 mm). Tungsten-vanadium steel cutters cover shapes: cylindrical (3 mm, 8 mm), ball (6 mm), conical (6 mm), disc (10 mm), flame (6 mm), ellipse. Carbide multi-cutters (28758-28761) offer 1-3 mm diameter for fine engraving and separation cuts. Diamond spiral drills (0.8 and 1.2 mm) complement the range for glass and ceramic work.

HSS twist drills (DIN 338) suit standard drilling in wood, plastic, and soft metal; diamond spiral drills for glass and ceramic. Tungsten-vanadium steel cutters work wood, plastic, and soft metal; carbide multi-cutters handle harder materials, fine engraving, and separation cuts (1-3 mm). Diamond grinding pins machine hard and brittle materials such as glass, ceramic, and stone. For an introduction to milling work, the fine cutter sets 28710 (5-piece) and 28720 (3-piece) offer the most economical starting combination.
