Proxxon Micromot lathes and milling machines deliver precision-engineered performance in a compact footprint - the flagship PD 400 lathe achieves a centre distance of 400 mm with a spindle bore of 20 mm, while the FF 500/BL CNC milling machine holds positional tolerances down to 0.01 mm. Drive systems run on brushless DC motors rated from 100 W to 200 W with electronic speed control across 500-5,000 rpm, giving repeatable surface finishes on steel, aluminium, brass, and engineering plastics. Dovetail slideways are hand-scraped and hardened in accordance with DIN 8605 tolerancing, ensuring long-term geometric stability without stick-slip under load.
