A 2.5 mm chisel covers most of the daily hand soldering workload. The STTC-036 pairs that width with a short 6 mm tip length and a fixed 357 °C working temperature. Heating is regulated by the Curie point of the alloy inside the cartridge body, so the 357 °C working temperature is fixed and needs no calibration.
