Soldering tip chisel 30 degree 1.78 x 9.9 mm STTC series - Metcal STTC-137LL

On densely populated assemblies tall components block the path to the joint. The Metcal STTC-137LL solves that with an extended chisel tip 9.9 mm long and 1.78 mm wide, angled at 30 degrees so it can be brought in flat to pads that a short tip cannot reach.

Applications

Soldering and rework on terminals hidden by heat sinks, electrolytic capacitors or connectors, plus general board repair where a short tip no longer reaches the pad.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

The STTC series cartridge is fitted to the MX-H1-AVA and MX-RM3E hand pieces and runs on the MX-500, MX-5000 and MX-5200 power units. One soldering tip is supplied.
