Soldering tip chisel 5 x 11.4 mm 412 °C STTC series - Metcal STTC-165

When heat disappears into the board instead of the joint, the contact area of the tip decides the result. The STTC-165 is a chisel soldering cartridge with a 5 mm working width and 11.4 mm tip length for standard through-hole and larger surface-mount work.

Applications

Standard soldering on leaded components, connectors, cable lugs and terminals with high thermal mass. The 412 °C class suits lead-free alloys and joints that need to come up to temperature fast.
