The expanded metal filter sits as the first stage in the filter shaft and traps coarse solder and adhesive particles before they clog the filter mats and the main filter. It fits the extraction units LRA 150, LRA 210, LRA 220 and LRA 250 as well as the upper cassette of ACD 220-AS and ACD 250 FQ-AS. Being metal, it can be knocked out or cleaned, which extends the service life of the downstream stages.
