ESD round hood DN50 Ø200 mm conductive black - Alsident 1-5024-6

Above an ESD workstation the capture hood has to pick up solder fume close to the source and be conductive at the same time. The Alsident 1-5024-6 does both: hood and pipe socket are made of chromated TCP aluminium for permanent conductivity, the flange of conductive polypropylene. At Ø200 mm it covers the typical hand-working area of a soldering bench.

Applications

Solder fume extraction at ESD hand-working benches, rework and repair of electronic assemblies, capture of hot gas above hot air stations, and light dust extraction at test and assembly positions inside the EPA.

Compatibility and scope of delivery

For Alsident System 50 extraction arms with a 50 mm tube diameter. Scope of delivery: one 1-5024-6 ESD round hood.

As a dissipative component the hood is intended for use in EPA areas according to IEC 61340-5-1.
