Description
The A8 adsorption filter cassette binds gases, vapours and odours from the extraction airflow of ULT units of the 150/220/250 series. The filter medium is an 8 kg bed of activated carbon, 2 kg more than in the A6 cassette. The deeper bed extends the contact time and raises the adsorption capacity.

How it works
Gaseous and vapour contaminants are separated by adsorption, that is by accumulation of the substances on the surface of the activated carbon. The adsorbed substance is not changed chemically. Once the carbon is saturated, the complete cassette is replaced.
Applications
Separation of gases, vapours and odours in processes such as bonding, pretreatment, painting, printing, cleaning, laminating and casting on units of the 150/220/250 series.
