Sensitive assemblies must neither slide around inside a container nor rest on an insulating surface. This soft PU foam of 400 x 300 x 20 mm is electrostatically dissipative and cushions the part without separating it electrically from its surroundings.

Application

The foam serves as cushioning and insert for in house storage as well as for external shipping of electrostatic sensitive devices. Typical uses are inserts in ESD containers, shipping boxes and workshop trolleys inside the EPA. For parts with exposed leads the soft open cell structure is convenient, because pins can be pressed into it.
